Preparing For Parris Island Boot Camp
If you are trying to get into the Marines and you live east of the Mississippi River, there is a huge chance that you'll end up going to boot camp at Parris Island.
This is also the only place where women are trained to become Marines.

You have to be able to think as a member of the team and not as an individual : On arrival at the training camp, one of the first things that will happen to you is that you will receive the traditional Marine haircut that will strip you of your individuality, which actually is a very positive thing for you to learn to deal with right away.
Nobody is better than anyone else at boot camp, this is the sort of mentality that will work best for you when trying to prepare yourself to become a Marine.
You had to be physically and mentally strong in order to survive boot camp : Prepare yourself as much is possible to mentally deal with stress and to physically deal with the hardships that you will encounter at boot camp at Parris Island.
You also will have to memorize a lot of different terms and concepts while at boot camp, so make sure that you try to enhance your ability to concentrate and to study correctly.
One good thing that you do is to read at least one to two hours a day and to take notes on what you're reading and then to try to memorize these different concepts that are new to you.
