Payment

• In order to send business reply cards, your company must purchase an annual permit. A basic permit costs $185 and a high-volume permit (recommended for 891 returned cards or more) costs $770 annually, which includes the annual permit and an annual account maintenance fee.
  
  

Size

• To qualify for the lowest-possible mailing costs, BRMs must be between 3.5 inches by 5 inches and 4.25 inches by 6 inches. Additionally, cards must be between 0.007 and 0.016 inches thick.
  
  

Content

• The phrase "BUSINESS REPLY MAIL" must be included on the card above the address and must be directly above the words "FIRST-CLASS MAIL" and the mailing permit number. Also, a box containing the words "NO POSTAGE NECESSARY IF MAILED IN THE UNITED STATES" must be included in the top-right corner of the business reply card.
  
  

Customization

• Your company is permitted to include its logo in the address section as long as it is not placed within 5/8 inches of the bottom of the card and does not obscure the barcode area of the mailer.
