  Creola is a small city located in Mobile County in Alabama and has an estimated population of 2,000 as of July 2009, according to City-Data. Travelers visit the Mobile area to explore the "USS Alabama" battleship at Alabama Memorial Park, view the Bellingrath Gardens and to relax on the white, sandy beaches of Dauphin Island. • The I-65 RV Campground is located in Creola and has 76 RV sites. Park amenities include a camp store with groceries and RV supplies, fishing in the on-site pond, a laundry facility, restrooms, showers, a play area, public phone and a dump station. The play area consists of horseshoes and a basketball court.
  
  Each RV site has water, sewer and electricity (30 and 50 amp). Most sites are shaded and offer pull-through access. Daily, weekly and monthly rates are available. Attractions near this park include the Richard-DAR House Museum and The Estuarium at Dauphin Island.

McCoy's RV Park

• McCoy's RV Park, located in Mobile, is approximately 16 miles from Creola. Park amenities include a laundry facility, restrooms, a picnic area, showers and barbecue grills.
  
  RV sites offer water, sewer and electricity (30 and 50 amp). No TV is available at this park. Two pets are allowed per site reservation. Local attractions include the Mobile Flea Market, University of Southern Alabama and the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.

Shady Acres Campground

• Shady Acres Campground is open year-round. RV park amenities include a laundry facility, a dump station, restrooms, propane service and showers. Each of the 92 RV sites has cable TV, sewer, water, electricity (20, 30 and 50 amp) and free Wi-Fi Internet.
  
  Large pull-through, shaded and open sites are available. Dog River runs beside this park and guests can fish, enjoy fishing tournaments or launch their own boat from the private boat launch at this park (small boats).
  
  Area attractions include a short drive to Gulf of Mexico coast casinos, the Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile Carnival Museum and Wildland Expeditions (swamp tours).
