Finding a Realtor Who Will Work Hard For You
So where do you go to find a good Realtor? Finding a Realtor is not the easiest process.
You have to find someone who is going to work with you to sell your home, not pressure you to take offers so they can make a sale.
Well the first thing I do when looking for a new Realtor is call a few at random from the phone book, then I go to their offices and talk with them.
I ask them what they will do for me if I list my Home with them.
Be careful, there are some unscrupulous agents who will try to get you to sign a listing agreement with them, make it known that you just want to talk to them and that you'll call them when you've made a decision.
What exactly they cover when they come to my Home to write out the listing, what type of advertising they do (You want more exposure than just MLS), how often they do open houses and of course their commission.
I don't sign any listing agreements until I've interviewed several Realtors and chosen which one I'm going to work with.
Follow the Realtor's advice and the advice you read here to help your Home sell quickly and for the most money possible.
Getting a Realtor who's not overbearing is a must, there's nothing worse than being pressured to sell your home.
But remember this is a two way street, you have to be willing to make certain changes in order to sell your Home effectively.
