    Fancy Sports Bar

    • Go all out and turn a large room into your own personal sports bar if budget and space are not an issue. Use green concrete with white painted lines to create a floor that looks like a football field. Leave the wall white to serve as a blank canvas to hang colorful decorations, such as neon beer signs, framed sports memorabilia, framed sports pictures and assorted team pennants.

Place a large, colorful bar along the back wall of the room and place six matching bar stools in front. Hang a huge, flat screen TV on the wall behind the bar and a small TV from the ceiling at each corner of the room. Add a baseball glove-shaped booth with a basketball-shaped table along an empty wall. Place a pool table on the opposite end of the room from the bar.

    Gaming Sports Bar

    • Use assorted bar activities to create a home sports bar where guests can play games while they watch games. Place a small, but fully stocked, bar with two bar stools in a corner of the room. Add a sports-themed table and six matching chairs in the corner across from the bar. Mount one flat screen television on the back wall and one on the front.

Fill the remaining space in your home sports bar with amusing games. Add a pool table and foosball table in open areas. Place a shuffleboard table, pinball machine or dartboard along open walls. Finish the bar off with sports decorations on the walls, such as old tennis rackets, boxing gloves, golf clubs, framed player pictures and framed baseball cards.

    Mini Team Bar

    • Honor your favorite sports team with a mini bar in your den, recreational room or basement. Build or buy a basic bar big enough to place four bar stools in front, but small enough to fit into a corner of the room. Paint the bar with your favorite team's colors and logo.

Place a TV on the wall behind the bar and hang a framed team jersey below the TV. Slip a team jersey over the back of each bar stool and hang beer signs or sports pictures on the empty walls around the bar. Place a few sports-themed decorations on the bar, such as a football-shaped bowl with peanuts.

    Personal Sports Bar

    • Keep your sports bar personal with a family-oriented theme. Use the typical home bar items to set up the area, but use family sports memorabilia for decoration. Place sports trophies on shelves around the bar and hang framed pictures of family members playing sports. Frame family jerseys to hang on the wall, such as your old high school football jersey or your daughter's old soccer jersey.
