TaylorMade Golf Bags for Ladies
There's no doubt the name TaylorMade is one of the most famous global names in golfing accessories. There's also no doubting the quality of the TM products and technological advancements made since 1979, when the Company was still a subsidiary of Adidas. But here's a question - have they catered for the other 50% of the population? Women!
We ladies aren't looking for the lightest bag available that's the biggest fallacy out there. We play on the golf course, so we're going to be pretty competitive right, too weak doesn't really fit the picture guys. The reality is that we want to look pretty amazing on the course, lets be honest here. The guys have for too long looked well dressed, confident and dashing while we for many years have had to make do with substandard clothing and equipment. We try to add some glitz and glamour to the sport, and still want to play fantastic golf, so to feel good on the course we need one piece of accessory to be just perfect, and that's the golf bag.
I know some of you guys might be chuckling, golf bags like handbags right? Err noo. Having said that, if I could get hold of a Coach golf bag I would! Seriously, our bags need to have the softness of touch, sturdiness, a comfortable carrying weight, but most of all - look fantastic. That's why I'm a big fan of the TaylorMade Ladies golf bag range.
TaylorMade TMX Ladies Collection Stand and Cart Golf Bags
I like my TMX stand golf bag so much, as it gives me the European look on the course. Great! It comes with all the goodies of a guy's bag including the eight front accessible pockets (six for the cart bag), including a penholder and velour lined valuable pocket and a waterproof pouch for those cool drinks on those sunny days. I also really like the aluminum hardware on my TMX stand bags. Both these bags are made out of synthetic polyurethane and quilted polyester, which makes them look stylish. With an integrated umbrella holder and six-way velour top (fourteen way on the cart bag) both these beauties only weigh about 3.1kgs. Unfortunately they're missing the TaylorMade logo and are limited in color selection - white. Nevertheless, real treats to have on the course.
TMX Stand bag new price is around $180 and the cart bag is $220.
TaylorMade Ladies Pure Lite 3.0 Stand Golf BagI'm so picky about my golfing equipment it's untrue, so when I borrowed this bag last summer from a friend, I was not only hitting the greens; I was green with envy too. I simply love this bag! The turquoise and white checkered pattern is so stylish and distinctive. The carrying straps don't cut into your shoulders like others I've used in the past, I understand that this is TaylorMade's Anti Fatigue Comfort strap system at work. It has seven easily accessible pockets and a five way opening for those clubs and drivers. This bag felt really lightweight and is actually 2.8kg. Amazing.
Costs about $150 to $190 new.
TaylorMade Ladies Catalina Cart Bag
Not played a round with this, but saw it in the golf shop and thought it was gorgeous. Bell shaped base, and fourteen way top. This 2.6kg cart bag is visually very attractive. With nine pockets including velour lined valuable pocket and accordion expandable side pocket these so much room for those, tees, balls, GPS and range finder. I also liked the extra large cooler pocket. Very nice golf bag, with the famous TaylorMade golf logo that makes me feel like a pro.Prices around $210 new.I hope you can find a golf bag out there that suits all your needs. But for me the ladies TaylorMade range is the best on the market. Happy golfing!
