- 1). Crack the egg into the bowl. Beat with the whisk, mixing the yolk and egg white together thoroughly.
- 2). Add the milk and flour (all-purpose or self-rising) to the bowl, and stir all the contents together until the batter becomes smooth. Add an additional 1/2 cup flour for a thicker batter, or add more milk for a thinner batter.
- 3). Pour enough oil into a saucepan that it will cover the candy bar completely. You can also use a deep fryer instead of a pan.
- 4). Heat the oil over medium-high heat, and line a plate with two paper towels.
- 5). Dip the Mars bar into the batter, coating it thoroughly. Carefully place the chocolate candy bar in the hot oil, and fry it until the batter is golden brown and crispy.
- 6). Remove the fried candy from the hot grease with a slotted spoon or tongs. Place the bar on the lined plate to drain off the excess oil.
- 7). Cook as many bars as you want in this manner. Let them cool slightly before eating.
