Instructions to Fit a Canon Eyepiece Extender to the 1000D
- 1). Remove the existing eyepiece cup from the camera body by pulling it up until it slides off the camera. Be careful not to pull on the rubber piece too hard as it can tear easily.
- 2). Align the Canon eyepiece extender over the guide rails on either side of the viewfinder.
- 3). Push the eyepiece extender onto the guide rails until it cannot be pushed down anymore.
- 4). Push the original eyepiece onto the guide rails of the eyepiece extender until it cannot be pushed any farther.
