Culture Things to Do in London

    British Museum

    • An Act of Parliament established the British Museum in the mid-1700s. When the doors first opened, the museum was home to manuscripts, books and some antiquities. The location has since expanded, as have the collections, and with free admission to the public, as of 2010, the museum boasts over 6 million visitors each year.
