You Can Handle Your Headaches For Less

No one wants a headache. They come to you all day in Corporate America when the boss starts hollering out different plans when you have already planned the previous plan. But they happen and there aren't a lot of ways to remedy them except to hope and pray that they go away. There are about a trillion medical companies that are coming up with sure-fore ways to cure a headache, and they advertise their products to guarantee results, but do you really want to buy an over the counter drug that will supposedly cure your headache? There are many ways that may be able to cure a headache that are just as effective as over the counter quick fixes, and they might not cost you anywhere near as much.

Some of these remedies which most people are not aware of may not only cure your headaches, at least not the one you currently have, but also any of those you may come into contact with in the future. The important thing is to know the origin of your headache problems instead of looking for a quick fix. Obviously, the first choice you should make is to see your physician. They are much more knowledgeable that the actors on television who advertise quick fixes. Sometimes something as small as a cup of tea can heal the pain. There are several teas that have been found to reduce headaches and they are a lot easier and cheaper than a prescription drug. Gingerroot and Chamomile are two tea remedies that have been proven to work well on headaches. Adding honey helps and makes the tea taste a lot better.

There are also oils you can place on your head that can help with the problem. Thyme and Rosemary oils have been shown to release stress or tension which are usually the cause of headaches in the first place. Studies have shown that those oils are at least as effective as anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen do. Magnesium and B2 pills are also great stress relievers and proven to have helped in reducing headaches. In a study, the two supplements have been shown to decrease the number by half of the headaches its users were having.

The healing properties of teas such as these can do a lot to alleviating that headache. Magnesium and B2 have also been shown to help reduce the number of headaches that are experienced by migraine sufferers. As a matter of fact many believe that the cause of more severe headaches is caused by decreased amounts in of both of these substances in the body. Those headache sufferers who took these two substances regularly found that they had a 50% decrease in the number of headaches they were getting.

There are many different ways to fight headaches. It might be stress or the occasional migraine that ails you but there are plenty of natural substances that can be used that cost a lot less that over the counter remedies or those prescribed by doctors. Natural remedies can save you time and money, but check with your physician first.
