How to Repair Eyeglass Scratches
- 1). Apply an etching cream such as Armour Etch. This is readily available at home improvement retail chains.
- 2). Place a pair of rubber gloves over your hands, as you do not want to come in contact with Armour Etch, which is toxic.
- 3). Apply a small amount of Armour Etch over your eyeglasses, then spread it over the scratches with cotton swabs.
- 4). Repeat Step 3 on the opposite side of your eyeglasses.
- 5). Rinse your eyeglasses with warm water until all of the Armour Etch residue is off.
- 6). Blot dry the eyeglasses with a non-abrasive towel.
