Most of its holes are flat and fast, but some rise and fall. Challenging holes include the par 4, 443-yard 15th, where golfers must drive the ball at least 275 yards from the tee to prevent a lay-up shot. The course has a number of water hazards and more than 30 bunkers dotted around the layout.

Designed by Ed Collet and Art Sneider, the par-72 course measures 6,879 yards when playing from the championship tees. Impressively, the course record stands at an 11-under-par 61. Because it's in the desert, some of the Mountain View's water holes are slightly drier than intended. But the course still presents challenges, making it good for beginning golfers and veterans alike. Club facilities include a clubhouse, pro shop, driving range and putting green. Green fees start at $28, with discounts available to military personnel.
