Go For A Walk And Have Less Stress

If you want to reduce stress and increase mental clarity, get up and start walking.
While this may be the last thing you want to do when you are stressed or tired, you might be surprised by all the benefits.
Walking can be healthy, fun and relaxing.
Why is walking good? Unlike many other types of exercise, you do not have to train or get special equipment.
This alone can be a lot less stress.
Walking has the ability to naturally move your body and everything in it.
This movement gets your blood flowing, which helps your heart, your circulation, even your brain.
All of these things work better, which helps your stress reduce.
What is the purpose of your walk? You choose the purpose of your walk and what you want from it.
Walk for your health, walk to clear your mind, walk to get out and smell the roses.
Each form of walking has its own benefits.
If you decide to walk regularly, walk fast some days slow others.
Choose a walking method based on your mood at the moment or based on where you decided to walk.
Where should I walk? A mall is a great place to walk to clear your mind.
Walk purposely around the mall a few times, it helps clear your body and mind.
Walk slow, watching people shopping.
See how the couples and families interact, learn from them.
You can learn while you walk, this reduces stress.
Have you looked for local parks? The beautiful park can lend itself to a casual stroll.
Allowing yourself to enjoy nature and the world around you.
But a park with a good walking path can also be a great place to walk for your health.
An almost empty park can let you clear your mind.
What if it is too cold outside? Treadmills, at the gym or home, are a great way to improve your health if you use them.
The problem is a treadmill can become a very stagnant walk.
If you watch a lot of television you might want to limit your TV time to when you are walking.
But get off your treadmill some days to see the world.
Have you seen your neighborhood? Walking outside in your neighborhood, offers little changes.
You can stop to see flowers growing.
You might see a neighbor or meet one.
The leaves on the trees change colors as the season passes.
Flowers come and go.
Sitting in your chair will not let you see the world around you.
It does not help your physical health, your mental health, reduce stress.
This is a beautiful world we live in, so get out and walk.
