Using Google Cloud Print in Your Real Estate Business
Let's talk about Google Cloud Print for real estate. Printing isn't an exciting topic for an article, but it's something we very much need to do quite often in the practice of real estate. It's a paper-intensive business, and every transaction has contracts, offers, counter offers, inspection reports, loan documents and more. Though it's not exciting, it's such a large part of getting the job done that making it faster, easier and more mobile is a topic of interest.
In the past, I've written about a couple of services that allow us to print to a printer connected to a computer over the Web. They were alright, but a bit of a hassle. And, I've written about a wireless web printer (HP in my example) that could receive print jobs over the Internet, even in your car if you had access to wireless. I used it through my WiFi phone hotspot.
Google is everywhere, and that includes now in the printing of documents over the Internet to just about any computer in the world. Using a free Google Cloud Print account, you can identify your office printer and home printer to the cloud, and then print to either of them using any computer, or even a phone or tablet computer.
Your choice of printers isn't limited to home and office though. Let's say that you use a virtual assistant, or an assistant who works at home or in a different office from where your printer is located. Sure, you can send them an email document that they can print, but you can also just print it out for them from anywhere you are if you have access to their printer as shared on the Google Cloud Print server.
Yes, you can share your printers with anyone using their email address.
In this article, we'll look at how Google Cloud Print works and the ways in which it can benefit your real estate business.
