- 1). Make sure the MicroSD card has been inserted into the device. Insert the USB data cable included with the Samsung Moment into the side slot of the phone. Insert the other end of the cable into an open USB port on your computer.
- 2). Tap the "Status" bar on your phone's screen. Tap the "Notifications" icon.
- 3). Tap the "USB Connected" icon and then select "Mount."
- 4). Click "Start" on your computer, and select "My Computer." Double-click your phone's drive icon from the list of available drives. The name of the drive will vary, depending upon how many separate drives you have installed. Likely it will be drive "D," drive "E," or drive "F."
- 5). Click and drag every file and folder from the phone's drive to a separate folder on your computer's hard drive. The files start copying to the computer.
