Remove the Opener While Away:
If your entire family is planning to go on vacation or is deciding to stay away from home for a long period say for a month, it is wise to unplug the door opener unit. This will keep the burglar away from automatically accessing the garage door. Alternatively, you can utilize a lock console security switch, which as an accessory protects your home well from such suspicious activities.
