How to Reduce the Shine of Gloss Enamel Oil-Based Paint
- 1). Protect your eyes and hands from the chemicals within the deglosser by wearing eye protection and comfortable rubber work gloves.
- 2). Apply a sizable amount of liquid deglosser to a cloth rag.
- 3). Rub the deglosser onto the enamel paint with a rag. Cover the the entire surface with a single, even layer of deglosser.
- 4). Allow the deglosser to air-dry, then rinse the remaining residue from the surface with a damp, clean cloth.
