- 1). Open a new Word document. Click on "File" at the top of the screen, then select "Page setup" and "Margins" from the subsequent menus.
- 2). Select "Book fold" from the menu headed "Multiple lists."
- 3). Type the width of margin you desire in the boxes labeled "Inside" and "Outside."
- 4). Select the number of pages you want to include in your booklet in the "Sheets per booklet" list.
- 5). Create your booklet as you would a normal document - the page will be A5 and set to landscape rather than portrait.
- 6). Print the booklet by opening the "File" menu and selecting "Print." Check the "Manual duplex" box in the print dialog box that appears and then select "Print."
- 7). Wait until the computer has printed all the text on one side of the paper. Turn the stack of paper over and wait for the computer to print the reverse side of the paper.
- 8). Assemble the pages into a booklet and staple together.
