How to Get Ground-In Dirt Out of a Shower
- 1). Place 1/2 cup baking soda and 3 tbsp. liquid castile soap in a bowl. Stir the two ingredients together to form a safe, effective abrasive for the shower surface.

Wet a scrub brush and apply the baking soda and soap solution. Scrub the mild abrasive mixture into the ground-in dirt stains in the shower. Rinse the brush, as needed, and continue to scrub with more baking soda and soap solution. - 3). Rinse the shower surface to wash away the cleanser and dirt. Check the shower surface to see if any ground-in dirt stains remain.
- 4). Plug the drain hole in the shower. Pour bleach onto remaining ground-in dirt stains and allow it to sit for 10 minutes. If any ground-in dirt remains on the sides of the shower, wet a cleaning cloth with bleach and lay it over the stains for the same length of time.

Wear rubber gloves to protect your skin from the harsh bleach. Scrub the remaining stains to loosen them with the bleach. Drain the shower and rinse thoroughly to remove the last traces of dirt and bleach. - 6). Dry the shower surface with clean cloths.
