Baking Lovely Apple Pies

You could really make an apple pie just like a professional baker, if you follow the right instructions as well as the dos and don"ts. While baking the apple pie, many people end up burning the edges of the crust. To ensure that this doesn"t happen, you should cover the edges of the pie with an aluminum foil. Apple pie Recipe 1:

Ingredients required for apple pie:

"Unsalted butter - c
"All-purpose flour "" 3 spoons
"Water - c
"White sugar - c
"Brown sugar - c
"Peeled and sliced apples "" 8

Preparation: Preheat the oven to 220 degrees C. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in flour into it and form a paste. Add brown sugar, water and white sugar. Bring this mixture to a boil. Lower the temperature and let it simmer. In the pan, place the bottom crust. Fill it with apples. With a lattice work crust it and then cover it. Then over the crust, pour the butter and sugar liquid. Bake it for 15 minutes in the oven. After 15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 175 degrees C and continue baking for 45 minutes or till the apples is soft. Your apple pie is ready.

Apple pie Recipe 2:

Ingredients:
"Sliced, peeled baking apples "" 8
"Lemon juice "" 2 spoons
"White sugar - c
"Brown sugar - c
"All-purpose flour - c
"Ground cinnamon "" 1 tsp
"Ground nutmeg "" tsp
"Butter "" 2 spoons
"Egg yolk "" 1
"Milk "" 1 spoon

Preparation: Mix the lemon juice with the apples in a large bowl. Then combine cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg and flours. Add this mixture to the apples and mix it well. Fill the apple mixture in a pastry lined pie pan of 9 inches. Dot it with butter. On top of the pie filling, place the second crust. On top of the crust, cut some silts to vent. Using a hand or a fork, seal the edges of the crust. Beat milk and egg yolk in a small bowl. Brush this mixture on the top of crust. For 15 minutes, bake this apple pie at 425 degrees F. After 15 minutes are up, bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or till the crust turns golden in color and the filling is bubbly.
