How to Make Animated Wallpaper on a Cell Phone
- 1). Open a simple animation program and create a new document in the size you need your wallpaper. This is measured in pixels.
- 2). Design the first frame of your animated wallpaper. For example, you can use a photo or graphic as the base of the animation and add "glitter" by drawing stars. You can also fill each new frame with a different color to create a flashing effect. Create the next frame of your graphic and edit it, so that it continues with the animation. Save the animation as a .GIF file.
- 3). Sign up for an account at a website like Myxer.com if you don't have one already. Myxer allows you to upload images from your computer and send them to your cell phone for free. Click on the "Choose File" button under where it says "Make your own" on the right side of the website. Locate the animated image on your hard drive and upload it.
- 4). Send the image to your phone as a picture message. Open the message when you receive it and save it. Go to your menu on your phone to display the animated image as your wallpaper.
