How to Hook Up All Connections for HD TV & Audio
- 1). Plug the HDMI cable into the "HDMI Out" port of the device you want to send HD audio/video signals from. Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI In" port on the TV. If sending the signal out of the TV insert it into the "HDMI Out" port on the TV, then insert the other end into an "HDMI In" port on the outside equipment.
- 2). Connect the component video cables (red, green and blue) into the "Component Out" port on the outside device, then insert the other ends of the cables into the "Component In" ports on the HDTV.
- 3). Attach the RCA audio cables into the "Video Out" ports on the outside equipment, then plug the other ends of the cables into the "Video In" ports on the HDTV. If sending the signals out of the TV plug the cables into the "Video Out" ports on the HDTV, then connect the other ends of the cables into the "Video In" ports on the outside equipment.
- 4). Attach the digital audio cable into the "Digital Audio Out" port on the HDTV. This is primarily only used when sending the audio signal to a surround sound receiver. Insert the other end of the cable into the "Digital Audio In" port on the surround sound receiver.
