P"cheen International Bistro and Pub
The Bottom Line
P'cheen has been causing a stir on the social scene with upscale pub grub and a lively nighttime crowd. The worldly decor features sumptuous dark woods and leather, sofas for lounging, wall murals and an always-changing display of local art. A cozy dinner spot with outdoor seating for warm evenings, P'cheen turns up the energy at night when the DJ comes out and there's often a crowd of hipsters spilling out on to the sidewalk.
P'cheen has won a few honors around town, including "Most Authentic Fish n' Chips" (Atlanta's Finest Dining Magazine) and "Best New Neighborhood Bar" (Creative Loafing).

Guide Review - P'cheen International Bistro and Pub
When you arrive at P'cheen, you get the feeling that you've stumbled upon something unique. The interior is dark, decked out in warm earth tones and hints of glimmering gold.
Ahead of you, candles flicker invitingly from the cozy tables and booths. To your left, a large bar and sleek, L-shaped couches beckon you to come and stay a while. P'cheen is full of the signature industrial, yet inviting, touches of the Old Fourth Ward and the neighboring loft-like homes and establishments.
If its dinner you're after, P'cheen doesn't mess around when it comes to upping the ante on typical pub offerings. Start with a sophisticated selection of snacks and small plates, from marinated olives to Thai Grilled Chicken Wings. Yes, you'll find a burger and fries, but what you get is a Grilled Angus and Portabella Burger with Harissa Aioli and Wisconsin Cheddar. I can attest that this is not your average greasy burger. Their famous Fish n' Chips are Guinness-battered and always a popular choice. For the serious gourmand, P'cheen's rotating, seasonal menu offers dishes like Braised New Zealand Lamb Shank or the Chef's Curry Trio.
At the bar, choose from a variety or affordable wines (the House Cabernet, at only $6 a glass, is nothing to scoff at) and your usual variety of beers. What really stands out is the rotation of high gravity beers, and the educated bar staff is happy to make recommendations.
P'cheen has become a favorite in the neighborhood, with bartenders recognizing many patrons and large groups of friends gathering for an evening out. Go for a late dinner, stay for some drinks, and it may very well earn a repeat visit - or two, or three.
