- 1). Look on the original packaging for your Nokia 1600 cell phone. Often, the box will have a section containing several numbers and bar codes. The serial number will be listed in this area.
- 2). Turn off your Nokia 1600. Turn over the phone and push down on the battery latch at the bottom of the phone. Slide the back cover towards the bottom of the phone, and then remove it. Lift the battery to remove it. There is a sticker under the battery that contains several numbers pertaining to the Nokia 1600, including the serial number. The serial number can be identified by the label "S/N" or "Serial #."
- 3). Dial "*" "#" "0" "6" "#" (no quotes) with the phone powered on. After the last button is entered, the Nokia 1600's serial number will be displayed on the screen.
