• Small wire trees can be made into pendants or brooches. Larger versions can be made into ornaments. Materials

• Craft wire is inexpensive and easy to work. You can find it in a range of thicknesses and colors. You can also use recycled copper wire or telephone wire. You can decorate your tree with glass beads, gemstones, buttons, small toys or mini holiday decorations. Tools

• You will need a pair of pliers and some wire cutters. If you are recycling wire for your tree, you may need wire strippers. Many tutorials recommend that you use pliers with smooth round jaws that won't mark the wire. Needle-nose pliers are a good choice.
