Stress and Hair Loss - How to Defeat Hair Loss Through Stress Management

Stress is one of the biggest causes for hair loss, although not many people know about it.
One of the easiest ways to reduce hair fall is to reduce the amount of stress in your life.
Along with a healthy diet and perhaps a shampoo or conditioner that actively promotes hair growth, reducing stress can really do wonders for your hair line.
Of course, reducing stress to prevent hair loss is easier said than done.
It can be phenomenally difficult to cut down on stress, especially considering the busy lives most of us lead (which, of course, contributes to hair loss).
However, by taking a few minutes out of your schedule and performing some simple exercises, you can cut down on stress exponentially.

Breathing Exercises One of the easiest ways to cut down on stress is through deep breathing.
Practice breathing deeply, holding your breath for upto 3 seconds, then exhaling slowly.
Deep breathing can help you feel relaxed, and improve the circulation of blood in your body.

Meditation Nothing works better for stress management than meditation.
Just half an hour of meditation daily can not only reduce hair loss but also work wonders for your health in general.
Find a quiet, comfortable place in your house, preferably one that is well-ventilated and receives plenty of sunlight.
If you want, put on some relaxing, light music.
Then find some particular chant which will help you concentrate, and focus on it for at least 30 minutes daily.
A simple routine like this practice daily will not only improve your general health, but also increase your concentration levels.

Exercise Exercise, even if it is a 20 minute walk around the block, has been proven to have a profound effect on your stress levels.
Even if you can't go to a gym due to paucity of time, you can get plenty of health benefits by just doing a few crunches and push-ups in your home.
As long as you get your heart rate up, you will derive tons of benefits from exercise.
You should also incorporate some form of exercise at work, even if it is something as simple as stretching your back.
Take a break every 2 hours at the office to relax your eyes and stretch your limbs.
It will work wonders for your concentration levels.

Diet Heavy, deep fried food can make you feel bloated and increase your stress levels.
A wholesome diet full of fresh vegetables, fruits and quality proteins (turkey, chicken, tofu, tuna) will naturally fight stress in your body, while also helping you reduce weight.
Stress and hair loss have a direct relationship.
The more the stress, the more the hair loss.
Stress management is one of the more important steps in curbing hair loss once and for all.
