A Masai Kenya Safari Experience

A Kenya Safari; Overall

A Kenya safari has always been one of the most exciting safaris available in Africa and today it continues to impress visitor's year on year. With a well-developed tourist infrastructure and easy access from the UK, Kenya is perfect for a unique honeymoon or a big family holiday. What's the attraction of a Kenya safari? Perhaps it's the fact that you can see hundreds of wild animals roaming the plains, or witness stunning landmarks and breath-taking scenery. Perhaps it's the chance to take part in exhilarating activities amongst some of the world's most famous sights or even the chance to relax on some of the Indian Ocean's most beautiful beaches? Home to some of the best wildlife reserves in Africa, including the famous Masai Mara, Kenya will give you an incredible safari experience, creating special memories you'll treasure forever.

An Unforgettable Trip to the Masai Mara

The Masai Mara is one of those places you've probably only ever seen in documentaries or in captivating photographs. Seeing it for real really is magical. Its endless plains dotted with flat topped acacia trees create that classic East African image, where the Masai people stand in their red dress silhouetted against the orange sunset, and herds of elephant, lion, leopard and wildebeest roam freely. A safari in the Masai Mara is highly recommended if you wish to see all the big five animals. It is also one of few places in the world where you can witness a spectacular natural event, the great wildebeest migration. This amazing spectacle occurs every year between the Mara and the Serengeti in Tanzania. It is the largest overland animal migration on earth and occurs when 2 million wildebeest, gazelle and zebra migrate between these two parks in search of fresh grazing.  If you want to see animals in abundance, this is the time. Thanks to the introduction of the luxury Kenya safari, you don't just have to view the wildlife on game drives. Walking safaris are too fun and exciting, and there are many other ways in which to discover the Masai Mara including on a hot air balloon, on a horse riding safari and even on the back of an elephant!

Meeting the Real Masai Tribes

Whilst in the Masai Mara, take advantage of the activities on offer to meet the Masai tribe. Seeing the way the Masai live really is an eye opening experience, for all ages. You'll be accompanied by an expert guide and taken to a local village where you will meet some of the locals and spend time learning about the Masai culture as well as getting hands on with arts, crafts and bush survival skills!
