One Shot is one of the books that come in Jack Reacher series written by Lee Child.
After reading through quite a few books by the author, I was dumbstruck by the way he played the character "Reacher" around the plot.
The story all starts when six shots are fired in random from a sniper by an unknown person in a city and in the process killing five people.
And, this incident has made the city into a state of terror.
But the cops easily solve the case in matter of few hours and capture the criminal.
But, the twist comes in the form of criminal where he says "You got the wrong guy, Get Reacher for me".
As from the previous novels in the series, the arrival of Reacher completely changes everything.
It exactly happens over here too, where he stays in an unknown world free of any commitments and comes in to the defense of his military friend.
He uses his brutal force when needed and easily dispatch a thug who is much stronger than him.
With a wide knowledge of weapons, he takes calculated risks and he his utterly emotionless towards his opponents when it comes to a fight.

Lee Child makes use of an attractive hero to perform enough fast-paced action and plot surprises to keep the reader thoroughly engaged.
His exquisite intelligence in technical and military knowledge is portrayed in the shooting scenarios that come through the plot.
The way he moves around with other officials and befriends them to find out the truth captures the attention of the readers.
One thing I would love to mention is that he is crazy about cars and coffee.
Reacher is always at his best during intense battles, you can witness it during the final stages of the story when he encounters with the enemies in their own fortress.
This novel is highly recommended to all the fans of Lee Child, or even for anyone who are looking for a new series of thrillers to read.
