What is a Trojan? A Trojan is a hoax, a file that indiscreetly gets downloaded into the system from a legitimate source and works in the background with the sole objective of destroying computer data and in some cases disabling various hardware features as well.
The users would in most cases not know what has suddenly caused the computer to perform slowly, respond to commands at the slowest speed and yet eat up valuable disk space.
To remove a Trojan virus, first run good antispyware software to let it detect the Trojan virus.
The virus should easily be detectable by any good robust anti virus software.
oOnce the virus has been found, remove Trojan virus completely from your system by emptying the recycle bin.
This would mean that the virus has at last been effectively removed.
oNow go to the Systems Restore feature in the Program list.
Click on Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore.
Right click on Properties and check the box against "Turn off system restore".
oUpdate your scan software with the latest updates.

You have taken care of the Trojan alright but to ensure that there is no repetition of the re entry once again, be always alert and see that the pop up blockers given by Google and Yahoo are on.
Pop up blockers block out major virus entries, and most viruses enter the system with seemingly unassuming pop-ups flashing on your screen.
It is great to remove Trojan virus but it is always safe and advisable to prevent its entry in the first place.
