How to Draw an Arch
- 1). Make a light dot on the paper where you want your arch to begin. This dot is a guide mark that will help you keep the size and shape of your arch correct.
- 2). Make a second light dot on the paper where you want your arch to end.
- 3). Draw a third dot higher on the paper where the center of the arch will be.
- 4). Draw a curving line through all three dots. Draw the line lightly so you can erase without difficulty if you make a mistake or decide the arch needs to look different. Once you are satisfied with the look, erase the three dots and darken the arch line.
