How To Make New Drawers Slide Easier
- 1). Open the drawers and locate the metal sliders or rails. You can use the same process if the drawer slides out without rails.
- 2). Open a can of Paraffin wax and dab some of it on a microfiber cloth. Use only a little bit of the wax at first, as you don't want large amounts on the cloth.
- 3). Rub the wax on the sliders or rails, evenly coating them. Make sure there are no clumps of wax on the rails or sliders. If your drawer doesn't have sliders, proceed to the next step.
- 4). Rub the wax on the sides of the open drawers and slide them back in to work in a little of the wax. This will make sticky drawers slide easier.
