Mastiff barking is rather loud and can be one of the most intimidating barks that you will ever hear.
However, at times you will want to learn how to stop your Mastiff from barking because it can be annoying if you have a friend over then you will not want them doing this towards them.
So that would be a case when you want to definitely learn how to stop him or her from doing this.
I know that for me I have managed to get my Mastiff trained to stop this towards everyone except for people that I want him to.
Here is how I got him to stop doing this bad behavior.
Now I know that for some people they will not even consider obedience training as a solution for this type of problem, but I can tell you that it works.
I know that before I got my Mastiff trained he would bark at anything that moved and made him jump.
This would even include my cats who would be walking around in the house! So for obvious reasons I had to stop this behavior.
In the training course that he was in I learned to teach him that I am the alpha dog to ensure that he will not violate the pack rules.
Which means if I am not barking at anything or yelling about anything that he should be quiet with that item as well.
This method works out really well in getting him to listen to me about the barking as well as other problematic behavior as well.
