- 1). Pick out and discard small pieces of plastic film from the appliance cracks using tweezers.
- 2). Direct a hair dryer on the highest heat setting over hard-to-reach bits of protective film. The hair dryer melts the film so it no longer protrudes from the appliance.
- 3). Dampen a folded paper towel with nail polish remover to wipe away any residue from the protective plastic film. Test a small, unobtrusive area on the appliance first to be sure the nail-polish remover does not mar the finish.
- 4). Wipe the surface with clean, dry paper towels.
