- Call your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms: shallow or slow breathing, light-headedness, confusion or stomach pain.
- Other side effects of taking Subutex may include headache or increased sweating. Insomnia, runny nose or back pain may also be present with the use of the drug.
- Some drugs may make Subutex's side effects more severe. Tell your doctor if you take antibiotics, HIV medication, sedatives or anti-seizure medication.
- Avoid medicines that make you sleepy and avoid alcohol while taking Subutex. Subutex may impair your thinking ability, so be careful when doing activities that require you to be awake and alert.
- Seek medical help immediately if you think you have overdosed on Subutex. Symptoms of overdose include slowed breathing, small pupils and clammy skin.
