Hotels in Coldfoot, Alaska
- In the 1970s, Coldfoot served as a camp for construction workers building the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Today's rooms at the inn are converted living quarters originally built for the workers. After the pipeline was completed, Coldfoot evolved into a rest area for semi truck drivers. Eventually the former worker living quarters were transformed into public accommodations.
- The Inn at Coldfoot has 50 very basic rooms available. Each room is supplied with two twin beds, a desk and private bathroom facilities. All rooms are properly serviced and cleaned by the staff.
- The rate for the Inn at Coldfoot Camp is $219 per night, as of January 2011. The rate is based on both single and double occupancy and remains the same year-round. Triple occupancy is charged $20 more and a roll-away bed is not provided.
- Coldfoot Cafe provides the only food available. It is located just a short walk from the inn and is open 5 a.m. until midnight. A breakfast and lunch buffet is available during the summer. In the winter, food can only be ordered from the cafe's menu. Carry-out boxed lunches are also available, which the cafe recommends ordering in advance.
