Wood Arrows

• The wood arrow is the basic type of arrow. It is used mainly for beginners and also used in some schools that teach students about bows and how to shoot them. These arrows are not used with higher-power recurve bows and compound bows.
  
  

Fiberglass Arrows

• Fiberglass is the next level up from wood. These arrows are light, precise and easy to fit to draw length. These tend to break easily but are inexpensive.
  
  

Aluminum Arrows

• Aluminum arrows are used by the majority of the hunters and archers today. They are very durable and can be made to fit any type of bow. They consistently fly straight and are consistent in weight. They come in over four dozen sizes.
  
  

Carbon Arrows

• Carbon arrows are the most expensive arrows out there and are recommended for only serious archers. These arrows are better in flight, smoothness and speed when shooting. These arrows will never be permanently bent.
