      Following a documented policy and procedure makes it possible for a corporation to function with great efficiency because the corporation is being operated as planned. Policies and procedures are developed and implemented after careful planning and consideration of the available options. Consider what would happen if there was no policy or procedure that identified how a vacant position would be filled.
