How to Create a Histogram on StatCrunch
- 1). Select the “Graphics” menu option. Select the “Histogram” option. This action will display the Histogram window.
- 2). Select the desired “Column(s)” to be displayed in the plot(s). A different plot will be created for each column selected. If desired, complete the optional Where Clause to indicate the data rows to be included in the calculation, the Group By column option and the Separate Graph For Each Group option.
- 3). Click the “Next” button. This action will display a new window with additional options.
- 4). Select the desired “Type” to be displayed on the Y Axis. If desired, complete the optional parameters provided on the displayed window. Click the “Next” button. This action will display a new window with additional options.
- 5). Select the desired “Overlay Density” on the Histogram. If desired, complete the optional parameters provided on the displayed window. Click the “Next” button. This action will display a new window with additional options regarding the Axis, Graph Layout and Color Scheme. Click the “Create Graph” button. This action will create the Histograms based on your option selections.
