    Ice Cream Cakes

    • Include a surprise ribbon of ice cream in the next birthday cake you make with the Fanci-Fill pan. Fill the cavities in the baked cakes with a complementary or contrasting flavor of softened ice cream. Fill a chocolate cake with strawberry ice cream, for example, or fill it with a fudge-flavored ice cream for a double dose of chocolate. Freeze the two filled cake halves for about 30 minutes to allow the ice cream to harden, then flip one cake onto the other. Ice and decorate the cake and freeze for at least three hours before serving.

    Secret Icing Tunnel

    • Impress your family members or guests with a plain-looking cake that holds a secret layer of icing in the middle. Spread your favorite icing into both cake cavities and carefully invert one filled cake on top of the other. Lay a paper doily on top of the cake and sprinkle powdered sugar on top; gently remove the doily to leave the patterned design behind. This idea works best with dark-colored chocolate cakes, since the lines between the two cakes won't stand out.

    Pudding in the Middle

    • Make a customized pudding-filled cake with your Fanci-Fill pan. Fill pistachio cake with pistachio pudding, for example, or exaggerate the flavor of a lemon cake with a tunnel of instant lemon pudding. Ice the cake and refrigerate it to prevent the pudding from spoiling.

    Filled Meatloaf

    • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix up your favorite meatloaf recipe and divide it between the two Fanci-Fill pans (adjust the recipe so you start with 2 lbs. of ground beef). Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Drain the grease from both pans and invert the loaves onto a cookie sheet covered in foil. Carefully fill the cavities in both loaves with your favorite barbecue sauce or cheese sauce. Stick two large serving forks into the opposites sides of one of the loaves and invert it on top of the other loaf. Cover the filled meatloaf with aluminum foil and bake for another 10 minutes to heat the filling.
