How do I Convert CD to MP3 in Shareware?

    Free Rip

    • 1). Download and install Free Rip from the official site (see References). Once the program has finished installing, open the Free Rip program by opening the Start Menu, clicking "Programs" and opening the Free Rip folder and application.

    • 2). Insert the CD you want to create MP3 files from into your computer's disc drive.

    • 3). Click the "Rip" button in the Free Rip window. Choose the location on your computer where you want the audio files saved. Allow several minutes for the program to rip the tracks from the CD and save them as MP3 files.

    One-Click CDtoMP3

    • 1). Download and install One-Click CDtoMP3 from the official site (see References). This program will add an option to the pop-up menu when you right-click on your computer's CD-ROM drive, or on an MP3 file.

    • 2). Insert a CD into your computer's disc drive.

    • 3). Open "My Computer" and right-click on the disc drive. Click "Convert Audio Disc" and choose "Extract to MP3" from the list of options that appears. Allow several minutes for the files to convert. You can also double-click the disc drive and right-click on individual songs if you don't want to convert the entire CD.

    CD to MP3 Ripper:

    • 1). Download and install CD to MP3 Ripper (see References). Open the program from the "Programs" folder on your Start Menu.

    • 2). Insert a CD into your computer's disc drive. CD to MP3 Ripper will open the files and they will be viewable through the CD to MP3 Ripper window.

    • 3). Make sure the songs you want to convert have a check mark next to them and click the "Extract" button at the top of the window. The tracks will automatically be converted to MP3 files. You can change what types of files to convert the tracks to by clicking the "Edit" button.
