- The PV10 has eight input channels (six mono mic/line inputs and two stereo inputs). Each channel has a panning, three-band equalizer and line-stabilization button. The USB port connects to a computer to record sound and to also playback digital audio. The unit detects loudness through the "clip" LED indicator.
- The PV10 is primarily used by DJs and musicians who record most of their music using digital audio software. Real instruments can be used to record through the PV10 to software audio workstations. The PV10 provides studio monitoring through built-in monitor jacks that can be connected through headphones or studio monitors.
- The PV10 can be used with most software audio workstations, such as Fruity Loops Producer, Sony Vegas, Sony Acid, Audacity and Adobe Audition. Even though the mixer is USB driven, certain setup and driver requirements may be needed, depending on which software package is used.
