How to Use RCA Cable for a Subwoofer

    • 1). Insert the plug on one end of an RCA audio cable into the Input jack on the back of the sub, pushing all the way in until the plug seats with a click. If the cable is equipped with two plugs, connect only one of them.

    • 2). Connect the plug on the opposite end of the cable to the Sub Out jack on the back of the AV receiver. Be sure to use the same color-coded plug that was used on the opposite end for the sub connection if the cable has two plugs. For example, if connecting the sub with the white plug, use the white plug on the other end to connect to the receiver.

    • 3). Turn on the sub and receiver, then adjust the volume control knob on the back of the sub to the desired level.
