Salt Lake City 24th of July Events - celebrate Utah"s bonus holiday with parades, fireworks and more
Pioneer Day, also known as Days of '47 or simply the 24th of July, marks the day in 1847 when Brigham Young and the Mormon pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley. Days of '47 events are held throughout the spring, but most occur in the week or so before the 24th. Here's a list some of the best Pioneer Day events.
