Bespoke Camper Conversions
Nature Campers
A lot of us enjoy being in the country, the fresh air, scent trees and a soft breeze is something that cannot be compared to any experience we would get living in a big crowded city. The only downside is that, while being with nature is great; we do not really want to be away from all the modern things we use everyday for too long. The solution, just get a nice camper or RV, just that there are very few people who can afford one of those, for the rest of us it is converted vans.
Turning a van into camper is a terrific idea that more and more people are opting for every year, for outdoor campers it gets even better. While it would be incredibly hard to find an already expensive camper that can go through rough terrain, we can purposefully make an almost all-terrain camper and save a ton of money.
This is not that much different from the usual conversion of a van, details of which you can find all over the web, all that needs to be done is doing some additional work on the mechanics of the van itself to take it more rugged. This includes raising the gap between the base of the van and the ground using bigger, SUV type tires and rims, and perhaps meddling with the suspension. Another necessary modification would be to tune the engine so it would be more capable of going over hills. And finally, the suspension would need to be modified so that all those bumps go easy on our van. The con is that not many of us do not have that sort of knowledge of cars to do it themselves; a professional has to be brought in.
What we get in return for the extra work though, is simply phenomenal. This lets us go virtually anywhere off road, stay there, or even spend a few nights without having to forget about any of our city life perks. Just to clarify the extent to which this camper makes a difference, we can be in the middle of a forest full of wild animals, go do some sort of exploring dressed expedition clothes and all during the day, but unlike those survival people we see on television, once back to our €camp' we have a solid roof and floors, food cooked from an oven, microwave for eating frozen food, a comfy mattress bed instead of some sleeping bag, sometimes we may even have satellite television if the network is there. And even if you do not get the network, with a big TV and electricity we can always just plug in a gaming console and continue that mission in our favorite PS2 game. It is safe to say that anyone reading this will now get how great it can be to have a camper with them on a trip to the countryside, although it might not be so much of a good idea to go inside a forest with it€¦since there are all those hungry wild animals in there an all. But still, one simply can not ignore the level of epic fun a camper can bring for an outdoorsy person, and a converted van does all that at our minimal expense.
