How to Connect a Flexible Water Supply Line to the Elbow Piece of a Whirlpool Dishwasher
- 1). Remove the screws that secure the bottom panel of the dishwasher to the appliance with a screwdriver. Remove the bottom panel.
- 2). Locate the water inlet valve. On Whirlpool models, the water inlet valve is located on the left side of the lower compartment of the dishwasher.
- 3). Thread the water supply line connector onto the brass elbow then hand-tighten the connector. Use an adjustable wrench to further tighten the water supply line.
- 4). Turn on the water supply valve and inspect the connection for leaks.
- 5). Replace the lower access panel and secure it into position with the screws that were removed.
