- Find the author or editor of the Web page. List the last name first, and separate with a comma. Put a period and one space after the first name.
Sometimes neither of these credits is listed. If so, move on to the next section of the citation. - Include a publication date in parentheses. This could be the date of the last update or the copyright year. If no date is available, use "n.d." Follow with a period outside the parentheses. Add one space before the next section.
- Include the Web page title. If you are citing a particular page or article on a large website, cite the specific title and separate it with a colon. End with a period and space.
- Always cite the Web address you are using. Cite the exact page and not just the ".com" home page address. Include the words "Retrieved from:" before writing the URL. End with a period.
