How to Remove a GMC Canyon Radio
- 1). Place your hands on the sides of the bezel surrounding the radio and pull it straight back toward the rear of the truck using both hands. Set the bezel on top of the dashboard where it will be out of the way.
- 2). Unbolt the stock deck from the dashboard using the 1/4-inch ratchet and socket.
- 3). Lift the stereo out of the dashboard using both hands. Turn the stereo to the side and unplug the wiring from the back, as well as the antenna lead.
