- 1). Select a free online faxing service. Some of the better websites to choose from include GotFreeFax, MyFax and FaxZero.
- 2). Go to the free faxing page at your website of choice and enter your sender and recipient information into the corresponding boxes. This information will include your name, your email address, the name of the recipient and the recipient's fax number.
- 3). Click the "Browse" button and select the file you want to fax to the recipient. Or you can simply type your message into the box provided.
- 4). Enter the security code into the appropriate box and click "send" to initiate the faxing process.
- 5). Check your email inbox for any updates from the faxing service. If you receive instructions to correct an error or to further confirm the transmission of your fax, follow the instructions as written in the email. Once you receive an email confirming successful transmission of your fax, the process is over.
