How to Plait Leather

    • 1

Begin with a divided length of leather that resembles the image.

    • 2

Push the middle portion of the leather back and the bottom end through the gap working from the left towards the right.

    • 3

Pull the part that extends from the top right to the bottom left over the left side. Pull the middle part out toward the right side behind the top left/bottom right part.

    • 4

Push the bottom part through the space from the front. It must be inserted between the middle part and the part that beside it (middle part on the right side and other two parts on the left).

    • 5

Arrange the three strands and repeat Steps 1 through 5 to create a leather plait the desired length.
