- 1). Splash warm water onto your face. This will help loosen dirt and oil that is clogging the pores.
- 2). Squeeze a nickel-size amount of an exfoliating face scrub into your hands. Massage it into your skin, concentrating especially on the areas of your face covered with blackheads. Rinse the scrub off your face with water, and pat it dry with a soft towel.
- 3). Apply a clay mask to your face once a week. The clay mask formula should not contain mint, which can irritate skin. The mask should be applied and left on according the directions by the manufacturer. The clay will absorb the oils and dirt that clog pores.
- 4). Use skin and makeup products that contain glycolic acid.
